Hey Noobies! <3
Today was quite an eventful day!
First, i went to an audtion/interview for a job at Sydney’s Luna Park with Rita!
At first I was quite nervous when I found out we had to DANCE! That’s right noobs! I HAD TO DANCE FOR A JOB! haha. But once we got into the swing of things it was quite fun!
Ok so this is how it went down!
1. We arrive, got a number and filled out this paper with our availabilities, what sector we wanted to work in ect.
2. wait in line. I got number 217! The darn sticker wouldn’t stay stuck to my dress! so I bobby pinned it to my dress! Thanks Rita for the bobby pin!
People were called in in by groups of 40.
3. Get into the bigger room, do a little intro of our name and where we’re from!
4. Dance! we did the YMCA and random stuff of our own!
5. We got separated into 2 large groups. Then each person in the smaller group had to jump into the middle and get everyone to do two actions!
My two actions were “shake you booty” and “the hand roll!”
Good fun!
6. Pair off and ask each other “If you could be anything in the world, what would it be and why?”
I chose a Tree, I didn’t really have a reason, but Rita gave me one. She said “so you can photosynthesis and save man kind!” teehee.!
Rita chose to be a Rock because she’s “hardcore”. hahaha!
Then of course we had to tell the group!
7. Wait to the side while the judges judged us and made a decision of whether or not we would progress to the next level.
Rita and I obviously got through! =]
8. Individual interviews. We were given the roles that would best suit us then we had to fill out forms and wait in our individual lines to get interviewed!
I got put into guest relations.
9. Individual interviews. My interviewer was Liam. He is a graduate from UNSW and immediately he was impressed! YAY for UNSW! Liam also said he was very impressed with my resume and my ASPIRE work at uni! =]
That was pretty much it. The next step is to wait till Friday and call up at my specific time to see if I got the job!
After the interview, we realized that Luna Park was filming a commercial or something! So Jamie and I decided to be extras in it!
We played the roles of two friends fighting over a purple star! haha it was all fun! I got to twirl around!
After that scene, we moved onto a scene on the merry go round! That was fun at first but soon got tedious!
I’M GOING TO BE ON TEEVE! YAY!
Also got to meet some lovely peoples who were very friendly and told us all about being extras and such!
After all the filming, Jamie, Rita and I were so hungry that we decided to go McDonald’s on George street!
I ordered the new chicken scorcher, which in my opinion could have been better! But I was hungry so I didn’t exactly care!
After noming, I decided to cab it home because it was late and I just wanted to get home!
So here I am, at home, Blogging this! haha
